Package Description
This 9 days Uganda safari will take you on an African safari experience through Uganda's land of the Mountain Gorillas where you will do Gorilla trekking, Uganda's major safari parks including Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks, and lastly to Lake Bunyonyi for adventure tourism activities including hiking, zip lining and boat rides.
Our driver/tour guide will pick you from your residence /hotel at 7:00 am in Kampala . You will then begin your Safari experience with a tour of Lake Mburo National Park. Your first stop will be at the Uganda Equator for a picture moment and may be purchase of a cup of coffee before you proceed on your Safari. You will arrive at Rwakobo Rock-Lake Mburo for an early Lunch and check in. In the afternoon our tour guide will transfer you to the National Park for a boat ride on the Lake. Among the species of wildlife, you can see on the lake are hippopotamus, crocodiles and many birds. You will later return to the lodge as you view wildlife through the park sighting wildlife like zebras, antelopes, buffaloes etc. Later you will return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

You will have breakfast at 6:30 am. Head back to the park for an early morning wildlife game drive. During the game drive, you may see Zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, Giraffes, etc. During the drive, you will stop somewhere and take a nature walk in the park escorted by rangers from Uganda Wildlife Authority. Later you will check out of the park and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Lunch en route at Igongo Cultural Center. After Lunch, you will proceed to Park View Safari Lodge.Accommodation: Park view safari lodge

The day starts with an experiential morning game drive in the Northern sector of Kasenyi Queen Elizabeth National Park. The game drive starts at 7:00 am and lasts between 3-4 hours. You will drive via the several channel tracks in search of several wild games including elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cape buffaloes, warthogs, mongoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, and a lot of other small animals and birds. You will then proceed for Lunch at the Lodge and then head out for a boat ride on Kazinga channel. Here you will see several species of wildlife including buffalo, crocodiles, hippopotami, elephants, and several bird species. Later you will return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

You will have breakfast at 7:00 am and at 8:00 am transfer to Ishasha Sector Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check in at Enjojo Lodge, have Lunch and in the afternoon go on an evening wildlife game drive. Ishasha is famous for its tree-climbing lions however there are other species of wildlife to see. Although for this sector concentration will be the search for tree-climbing lions. Later you will return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight

You will wake up at 7:00 am for breakfast, if there was no luck with the tree-climbing lions the previous day, you will drive around the park again one more time just in case and then you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in Bwindi's impenetrable National Park late in the afternoon and check in at the Lodge where you will have Lunch. You will spend the rest of the evening enjoying the views of the Forest and relaxing at the Lodge. You will then have your dinner and overnight.Accommodation: Silverback safari lodge

You will have Breakfast at 6:00 am and then head to the park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch. You will be briefed by the park rangers about the park in general, the rules of trekking, and what to expect. After the brief, you will start gorilla trekking as directed by the rangers. This will be a memorable and amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around, and also do their day-to-day activities. This activity can take 2 hours or even up to 8 hours since it is dependent on the location and movement of the gorillas. Also, expect to walk long distances in muddy and steep conditions- this will require you to have a walking stick. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them as you observe their habits and take pictures. You will have your packed Lunch in the Jungle and then return to the briefing point to receive your Gorilla Tracking graduation ceremony where you will be awarded a certificate of Gorilla Trekking by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will meet your tour guide and then be transferred back to the Lodge. In the evening you will visit the Batwa /pygmies where you will learn about their culture and how they survived in the forest before they were rehabilitated by the government to stay with the rest of the communities and pave way for Gorilla conservation.Accommodation: Silverback safari lodge

You will have breakfast at 7:30 am and check out of the Lodge, then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi via the beautiful Kigezi hills. You will check in at the BirdNest Resort where you will have Lunch and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

You will leave at 7 am for a hike up the Kyabahinga hills. This should take you approximately 2 hours. Here you will get a very good view of the Lake. After you will return and head back to Birds Nest for Breakfast. You will relax a bit and later proceed for a boat ride around the Lake’s main islands such as Bwama Island, Supreme Island, and punishment historical island.
