This 3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari takes you to Volcanoes National Park well known for Gorilla trekking in Rwanda. Drive through the unwinding hills in rural areas into the home of endangered mountain gorillas. Your safari begins from Kigali urban settings in to the village setting of Musanze, this park is a habitat to variety of primate species that you may encounter during your trekking. You will also be to encounter a number of bird species and other wildlife. You will also have a visit to Iby’ Iwacu cultural village to get an insight of the Rwanda culture, and watch their traditional ways of living as you have chance to interact with these ex-poachers.

Today you will be picked up at your lodge or upon your arrival at Kigali airport with your morning flight as recommended by our guide or company representative, head for a city tour to visit the local market and Kigali genocide memorial ground before being transferred to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park where you will your dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. A gorilla safari requires a reasonable degree of fitness and walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or a whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, ready for a village foot safari, to explore the indigenous local life with a taste of the traditional performance. Dinner and overnight at La Palma Hotel (Economy Lodge).
